Prayer is the re-weaving; Prayer is the medium of miracles in that it is the way to get back to my true self in the moment when I am lost in the illusion of separation.

Truth Is, It DOESN’T MATTER
Your past, the regrets, trying to make the right choice for a better future…
Truth is, it doesn’t matter.
The most important question you can ask yourself in THIS moment is:
How do you want to FEEL? Right now? And right now? And RIGHT NOW?
My Morning Green Smoothie Bowl
Lately I have been in LOVE with this green smoothie bowl that I’ve been making, and I’ve been enjoying this every morning for the past few weeks. I just can’t get enough!
Maybe it’s because Spring is in full force here in Seattle but with the sun and warmer weather finally making it’s grand entrance I’ve felt a shift in the types of food my body wants.
This delicious breakfast has been such a treat in the morning and I wanted to share the recipe… let me know what you think and how you made mods to fit YOUR needs! 🙂
The Emotional Guidance Scale
Trust Over Fear
In an earlier post I wrote about enjoying the journey and the concept of being happy. In a nutshell… if you’re already on the journey you might as well choose happy right?!
And while I say that… I know very well sometimes it’s all too easy to listen to the voice in your head. The voice that tells you all the reasons why you should worry, be anxious, or be fearful of the path. The voice that makes you question your intuition. The voice that seems SO logical, but in fact is full of irrationality.
The Basics
I find it absolutely fascinating and love just how many new programs there are for upgraded nutrition, fitness, vitality, relationships, next level breathing, meditation, you name it.
However, after listening to a recent podcast by Robb Wolf I became acutely aware of how easy it is to forget the basics.
What do I mean by that?
Heart So Full It Can Burst
I had one of those ‘heart so full it can burst’ kinda mornings… the kind of mornings when you are in awe at how the Universe works. The kind of mornings when you connect so deeply with another human being you realize THIS is what life is all about. The kind of morning when you call and text all your closest peoples just to tell them you love them.
I’m inside of this vortex called love so big it’s swirling all around me and everything is so still and clear. There’s an aura of peace and you can’t help but acknowledge it. You can’t help but want to share THIS.
Because life is meant to be shared. The more we share these kind of moments the more it speaks to the part of all of us that craves this and sparks something new, hopeful, and energizing within us.
So here’s to more mornings like this. Here’s to creating your own vortex… the ‘heart so full it can burst’ kind 😉
Namaste.

You Might As Well Be Happy
This past weekend I went on an epic hike with my brother (and the little pup!) to Swak Mountain. We chose Swak because we knew how busy the other nearby trails would be and we really wanted to unleash the pup and let him roam 🙂 Speaking of trails… I just love how close these hikes, trails, and mountains are!!!
We get to Swak and the parking lot is packed! Fortunately the mountain is SO huge with tons of tiny trails that we didn’t really run into too many others and the pup was able to roam. Happy dog.
As I took in the wonder of nature we finally reached one of the trail peaks and started our journey down back to the trail head. We took a left, then a right, then another right, and then we finally decided to look at the GPS.
